Joseph I. Zumpano Quoted in Coronavirus Discussions on Private Versus Public Health Interests

Our Managing Shareholder, Joseph Zumpano, was quoted in the South Florida Sun Sentinel regarding the debate surrounding whether the State of Florida should release public health information relating to the status of Coronavirus. At issue in the article is the same law that was in place during the Zika virus crisis three years ago. Mr. Zumpano put forth his position that “The statute leaves the judgment to the [S]tate. But the status of a highly contagious public health threat may be fundamental to any public health efforts centered on prevention.”

Joseph I. Zumpano Speaks to Coral Reef Senior High School International Baccalaureate Program

Joseph Zumpano was honored to give the Keynote Address on December 4, 2019, at Coral Reef Senior High School before a crowd of approximately 600 students and parents. Immediately following his Keynote Speech, Mr. Zumpano was awarded an honorary pin from the renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at the school. Notable individuals, such as famed columnist and author, Dave Barry have delivered the Keynote Speech at this event in the past. In 2014, President Obama addressed the academically noted high school.
