Joseph I. Zumpano Quoted in Coronavirus Discussions on Private Versus Public Health Interests

Our Managing Shareholder, Joseph Zumpano, was quoted in the South Florida Sun Sentinel regarding the debate surrounding whether the State of Florida should release public health information relating to the status of Coronavirus. At issue in the article is the same law that was in place during the Zika virus crisis three years ago. Mr. Zumpano put forth his position that “The statute leaves the judgment to the [S]tate. But the status of a highly contagious public health threat may be fundamental to any public health efforts centered on prevention.”
