Zumpano Patricios Clerkship and Internship Programs

Zumpano Patricios has a longstanding history of mentoring interns and clerks. The ZP Internship program and Clerkship program are tailored to aspiring legal professionals.

The Zumpano Patricios clerkship program is offered to 1L and 2L students who have excelled in their courses and have proven to be a force for good in their community. In the summer following their 1L year, clerks conduct legal research in various fields of law, craft detailed memos, present their findings to, and receive feedback from, ZP attorneys. Following their 2L year, clerks gain experience with drafting motions, proposed orders, settlement agreements, and dismissals, to be reviewed by ZP attorneys and filed with the courts.

Zumpano Patricios also offers an internship program to undergraduate students, giving them a glimpse into life at a law firm. Interns typically leave the program with a better understanding of the legal profession and a reinforced desire to attend law school.
