The Wall Street Journal's, Going Global, supplement featured an article on issues facing U.S. companies involved in international transactions. ZP&W's Managing Shareholder, Joseph Zumpano, was quoted on the subject of managing financial risks when dealing with a foreign customer and stated that "Understanding the nature of the people on the other side and examining their creditworthiness ahead of time is essential." Mr. Zumpano went on to state that "We may recommend that our clients hire the appropriate professionals to assess personnel and financial elements prior to going ahead with a major transaction."
