Zumpano Patricios is pleased to welcome back Mitch Mandell as Managing Partner of the Westchester County, New York Office (Zumpano Patricios & Mandell).


Mitch received his B.A. from Rutgers University in 1982, and his Juris Doctorate degree from Boston University School of Law in 1985. He brings nearly 40 years of experience handling commercial litigation and employment matters and corporate transactions in a wide variety of industries. His litigation practice focuses on the resolution of commercial disputes involving domestic and foreign businesses.


Mitch has guided many organizations through various stages of growth, helping them to raise security and funding, draft shareholder and partnership agreements, address employee, labor, and intellectual property issues, and has also represented their interests in bankruptcy when necessary. He also consults on the legal and ethical issues in artificial intelligence and robotics, and is regularly called upon to speak about, and contribute to articles written about, these perpetually advancing technologies.


"Mitch's extensive experience and unique skills have equipped him well to lead the firm's Westchester County, New York Office," stated Zumpano Patricios President and Managing Shareholder Joseph Zumpano.


The Westchester County, NY Office operates in White Plains, the County's commercial hub. Located at 445 Hamilton, Avenue, White Plains, New York, this office opened on May 1, 2025 and is the firm's second office in New York.

Zumpano Patricios is pleased to announce Sebastian Jaramillo has joined the firm as an Income Partner. Based out of the firm’s Miami headquarters, Jaramillo concentrates his practice on complex real estate matters, including commercial and residential transactions, landlord-tenant disputes, and real estate litigation.


“Sebastian’s extensive experience and tailored skillset are welcome additions to the firm,” Zumpano Patricios Founder and President Joseph Zumpano stated. “We look forward to his practical, solutions-oriented approach as we continue to represent clients in their real estate matters.”


Jaramillo earned his B.A. in Economics, with honors, from Florida International University, his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Alabama. He has nearly two decades of experience in the practice of law, and has provided strategic counsel to developers, investors, landlords, and other stakeholders across the real estate industry.
