Amanda J. Brookhyser is Partner-In-Charge of the firm's Las Vegas Office (Zumpano Patricios Popok & Helsten). Ms. Brookhyser has significant experience including in the areas of commercial litigation, health care litigation, real estate litigation, and employment litigation.
Ms. Brookhyser has obtained jury verdicts and judgments on behalf of defendants and plaintiffs alike. She has represented various types of clients from large corporations and health care providers, to high-net worth individuals. As a skilled trial lawyer, Ms. Brookhyser also has substantial state and federal appellate experience, handling cases both before the Nevada Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Brookhyser was a partner in a well-known national defense firm where her practice included professional liability and malpractice defense.

Ms. Brookhyser serves on the Nevada Justice Association's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. She is also a Member of the Drake University School of Law Recent Engagement Board. Ms. Brookhyser enjoys taking pro bono cases through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada’s Children’s Attorney Project and participates in the Family Law Ask-a-Lawyer Program. She was named the April 2021 Volunteer of the Month by The Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada. She also mentors new attorneys through the Nevada State Bar’s Transitioning Into Practice program.
