Wayne H. Pocock is a litigation Associate in the New York City Office of the firm (Zumpano Patricios & Popok). Prior to relocating to the United States and practicing law in New York, he was an Advocate for over 13 years in South Africa (equivalent to a Barrister in the UK and Commonwealth). He maintains his practice there as well, servicing clients both in the United States and in South Africa who have legal and business matters abroad. He is a member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates, and he was a member of one of the most prestigious Chambers in South Africa. 

PROFESSIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Mr. Pocock has extensive experience representing national, international, listed corporations and high net worth individuals in complex commercial transactions and legal disputes in a variety of forums (trial, motion, arbitration) and has successfully litigated across a diverse range of industries. He also has extensive experience in bringing and opposing urgent court injunctions.  In addition to being licensed to practice before New York state courts, Mr. Pocock has practiced in major legal jurisdictions in South Africa including in the High Court and the Supreme Court of Appeal, regularly appeared in private arbitrations in specialized courts and tribunals such as the Tax Court, Special Investigations Unit, Financial Intelligence Centre, and the  Municipal Bid Appeals Tribunal. He is skilled in developing and executing effective litigation strategies, conducting thorough legal research, drafting legal pleadings, presenting oral argument, and providing persuasive advocacy to achieve winning outcomes for his clients.
