Thomas A. E. Evans is an Attorney Coordinator for the Zumpano Patricios Nassau, Bahamas Satellite Office. Mr. Evans practices law as the Senior Partner of Evans & Co.
Mr. Evans served as Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of the Bahamas from the 11th of September to the 31st of December in 1989, the 29th of July to the 15th of November in 1996, and the 1st of February to the 30th of April in 1998. He previously served as Stipendiary & Circuit Magistrate, and Crown Counsel in the Attorney General’s Office of The Bahamas. He was a Member of the Firm of Christie Ingraham & Co. from 1980 to 1986, and was a partner from 1982 to 1986. He also served as Treasurer of The Bahamas Bar Association and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of The Bahamas Bar, Lecturer and Examiner of The Bahamas Bar Examinations. He is a former Director of the Central Bank of The Bahamas and Chairman of the Industrial Relations Arbitration Tribunal. He is currently a member of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission of The Bahamas and Associate Tutor in the Law of Evidence at The Eugene Dupuch Law School.
